I DO NOT understand what is the big ta-do with Twitter. There. I said it. This may be a thing like myspace (hopefully not) that I don’t really find the reason to participate until later when almost everyone and their mom has one or out of some necessity. I didn’t get the big deal about myspace for a long time and didn’t have one until that brief couple of months were you had to have an account to listen to music, which was the only reason to for me to even go there.
But this Twitter thing–Seriously? Why would someone think, for some reason, that they must tell everyone they know what they are doing at a particular moment? And secondly, why wouldn’t you just send a text message anyway to people if it was really urgent. The fact that you just bought a cheeseburger with a coupon, I don’t think, needs to be broadcasted all over the world. I just don’t get it.
