This is one of the coolest ideas I’ve heard in a long time: Project Bueller. They are out to recreate the awesome German Day Parade scence from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off at this year’s Halloween Parade in the Village, and it looks like they may pull it off. They have already gotten thousands of people to volunteer, holding rehersals for the “stair dance,” and auditions for Beer Maids. They even asked the one and only Matthew Brodrick to reprise his role and sing on their float. AWESOME! I hope this works out and lots of people put it up on YouTube! And it’s just another indication of why NYC is freakin’ awesome!
