This was once a blog where I shared many, many things, most of which were awesome. Somewhere around fall 2009, I got a big-kid media job and no longer can keep up with this old thing. There's some good stuff hanging around here though. You should check it out.

Sesame Street Animation @ Hulu

Over on Hulu, you can watch a bunch of Sesame Street clips, which is sweet. But what is even sweeter is that they have a BUNCH of their animations, which just totally made my days. These where always some of my favorite parts of the show as a kid QUESTION: Does anyone else get this...

Coolest thing I’ve seen in awhile…

You know, they teach you as a kid that chameleons change color, but until you’ve seen one walk across a set of old school Ray Ban sunglasses, and see it for yourself, you really haven’t lived. I freakin’ love Nature

Illustration Thursday : Adrian Johnson

Arian Johnson is a great designer/illustrator out of the UK, and is this week’s Illustrator.  With a refreshing and almost mid-century style.  I just love the humor and sweetness involved.  And so much texture! Grain Edit : Frank Chimero Interview

Frank Chimero, one of my favorite contemporary illustrators and designers, has a great interview over at Grain Edit.  Talking about his inspiration for work, his history as an artist, and working at Missouri State (whoop whoop Springfield!), it’s a great interview.  He also goes through the development steps he used for the newest addition to...

Web Wednesday : Design Inspiration

I’m an obessive collector.  I’ll admit that.  But what I’ve found as I’ve work in the design arena/read design blogs, is that almost everyone in this business is as well.  That almost everyone has a folder filled with brochures or a binder full of magazine ads.  And this is comforting. So this week’s Web Wednesday...

Movies to See : Away We Go

Today, I asked myself, “Why don’t you post more stuff about movies that are awesome?” And I had no reply.  It is true-I freakin’ love movies, just like every other person on this planet that has ever experienced the joy of sitting in a dark theatre with strangers and eaten popcorn out of a tub*....

A Happy Town in France : Matte Stephens

Though I was not pulled from the top hat to win a prize of awesome UO pillows featuring his illustration, I still think Matte Stephens does fantastic work.  The above is called “A Happy Town in France” and its very lovely.   I think it definitely deserves an Awesome Show, Great Job! Cheers!

Urban Exploration : Steve Duncan

I am a coward and klutz.  This, I know.  And I think that’s why I thoroughly enjoy the bravery of others when they risk falling and tetanus to take photos of abandoned places.  Urban Exploration is an obsession/photo project by Steve Duncan where he explores such places, from New York to Paris.  His photos are...

Illustration Thursday : SUPERmarket finds

So there is this awesome site called Supermarket that works sort of like Etsy, and is the home to a bunch of really, really talented artists, craftsmen, and the like.  Naturally, I’m on their e-mail list, and what did arrive in my inbox but their newsletter, including all of these awesome illustration pints! So, here’s...
