Etsy Tuesday : Neilsen Handmade Physics Journal
This. Is. Awesome! Using discard books and recycled paper, these journals from Neilsen Handmade are handcrafted, collaged, and stitched to make some pretty snazzy pads of paper. I just love the layout of this cover, the title, and that spider web type stitching at the bottom. Fantastic!

Illustration : Charley Harper
Probably most famous for his various illustrations and painting of wildlife, Charley Harper was an American artist with a great sense of modern style. Old Navy, of all places, recently had a whole collection of toys and games using Harper illustrations, including a coloring book, matching game, and animal/letter cards. I fortunately picked them up...
Etsy Tuesday: Joom Throw Pillows
Head over to the Joom Etsy store and check out these awesome screen printed throw pillows. Made by hand and printed on cotton fabric, these pillows are great! Cheers!

I LEGO N.Y.
I unfortunately do not live in New York, though I’ve visited and found it to be totally awesome. But in honor of America’s coolest city, here’s a whole series of NY finest in LEGOS. Everything from train tickets to the Empire State Building to a map of Manhattan. Awesome!
Etsy Tuesday: Cuore Paper Cards
In the spirit of Valentine’s Day just around the Tunnel of Love bend, here’s a great shop on Etsy with some super cute card, like this La La the Deer Card. Made from paper and felt, it can be found over at Cuore’s shop. Check it out!
HOW TO: Make a Valentine from Onion Skins
Over on CraftStylish, there is a great How to on making this really beautiful box/notebook using onion skins. This method would be cool to create paper or covers for almost anything, not necessarily Valentines. Using only the peels and some tac paper, this is really a very pretty craft idea. Cheers!
HOW TO: Rubber Origami
THIS. IS. AWESOME. Using a wonderus material called PlastiDip that I had never heard of until today, blightdesign has created a really awesome Instructable that I’m going to have to try. Taking a paper crane and dipping it into PlastiDip, this is a super idea. Check it out!
Van Gogh Mouse
I usually don’t have an affinitity for tiny plush animals in some kind of novelty garb, but this was too funny/weird/cute to not say something about it. The House of Mouse over at Etsy has a huge collection of these tiny handmade mice that are dressed in various characters, everything from Star Wars to Emo...
