This was once a blog where I shared many, many things, most of which were awesome. Somewhere around fall 2009, I got a big-kid media job and no longer can keep up with this old thing. There's some good stuff hanging around here though. You should check it out.

Etsy Tuesday : Neilsen Handmade Physics Journal

This. Is. Awesome! Using discard books and recycled paper, these journals from Neilsen Handmade are handcrafted, collaged, and stitched to make some pretty snazzy pads of paper.  I just love the layout of this cover, the title, and that spider web type stitching at the bottom. Fantastic!

Over-priced (but sweet) Plaid Shirt at UO

Though I would never pay $48 for a shirt (probably), let alone a plaid button-down shirt (definitely), I can appreciate this for the lovely plaid, though it has only regular old buttons, opposed to the snaps, of which I thoroughly enjoy. Cheers!

“Pixie & The Bear” by Chris Merritt

So I was privileged to be talked into going to see Chris Merritt last spring with some friends from good ‘ole Springfield, MO, and it was one of the best decisions to skip a roller skating venture to go to the show instead that I’ve ever made! (that sentence was confusing). Chris is an amazing...

Moustache Plank : Mr. Zygote

This made me laugh out loud:  Taking an 8ft plank of wood, affixing a moustache, and creating “hip & knee” joints, it has become one cool wooden friend.  Way to go, Mr. Zygote. Found Via It’s Nice That.

I LEGO N.Y.

I unfortunately do not live in New York, though I’ve visited and found it to be totally awesome.  But in honor of America’s coolest city, here’s a whole series of NY finest in LEGOS.  Everything from train tickets to the Empire State Building to a map of Manhattan.  Awesome!

Stuff White People Like

Ok, so in college, my good friend always said that I was the “whitest” person she knew.  I always laughed, because yes, I am pretty Caucasian. I don’t tan (because I can’t).  I watch more home improvement shows on PBS then I’m really willing to admit, and I can’t dance, not even a little. But...

Web+Design: Quotes on Design

Quotes on Design is simply that–random quotes from famous designers, engineers and everyday man about design–what it means, what it entails, the challenges it brings.  Above is one of those quotes I stumbled upon, and clearly is what keeps in design work and what makes me want to claw the walls and run.  Awesome!

Sweet Gifs

Ok, so I stumbled upon something awesome today while searching for illustration that stirred the tiny 12 year old from 1997 inside of my heart. Sweet GIFs is a magical place where the spirit of the Hamster Dance lives on. Created by the guys behind Rainbow Dropshadow, these hypnotic gifs, titled like its ’99, are...

An Open Letter to Starbucks

Dear Starbucks: I know that you know that I under most circumstances do not condone who you are or what you do.  I know for this you are probably somewhat disappointed, but I think I make it up to you every 30 days when I’m forced to use my “rewards card” in order to...

Merry Christmas, Chia Pets.

In a classic time when the “Clapper” was still something you could buy via a toll-free number and Empire Carpet ads still featured real people, the Chia Pet was really that gift that supposedly everyone got, but no one really wanted-like an 80′s equivalent to the fruit cake.  However, one small Hoosier always dreamed of...

Genie Bottle Lamp

Very classy lamp! found over at UrbanOutfitters.
