About
Hey. It’s nice to see you.
My name is Jessica, and I am a designer. Specifically, a graphic designer. Web and digital, print and identity.
I spend most of my time with creative direction, laying out print publications, creating data visualizations, promotional materials, and creating web components for my day job as the Manager of Publications and Web Services at the Center for Business and Economic Research at Ball State University. I also do a little media consulting, event planning, head up disaster control, and supervise a pretty awesome staff of designers, web developers, and journalism students. There’s a lot of creative direction, development and snacks in our small department.
In addition to the day job, I head up the creative development team at Dialogue Church in Muncie, IN, designing and maintaining our website, creating graphic and promotional packages for message series and events, and development new and creative ways to communicate. We planted the church from the ground up in 2008, and since, I’ve created everything from business cards and logos to kid’s church registration forms to reusable shopping bags.
My real passion lies in creative development and graphic design for organizations with mission: those with the drive to create tools, reports, research or products that bring some good into this world. I enjoy getting to know the heart and soul behind a project and working together with clients to make that a reality in creative and innovative ways.
I used to write a blog. I’m also working on this nerdy project about mid-century architecture. I like reading about this guy. I’m also on Twitter.
Let’s work together to make something awesome.
